Job Title: Summer Staff Position at The Children’s Center

Job Summary:

Are you great with kids and looking for a fun and rewarding job? We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join our team as a substitute. As a member of our team, you'll have the opportunity to teach and care for young children in a group setting while developing your skills in Project Approach, Reggio Emilia philosophy, and Developmentally Appropriate Practice. We are committed to building a positive and collaborative work environment, and we welcome individuals who are eager to learn and grow.

Job Responsibilities:

Plan and lead fun activities for children in a group setting that follow our teaching philosophy and best practices

Collaborate with your team to create a nurturing and engaging learning environment

Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues

Adapt to changes and challenges while maintaining a positive and flexible attitude

Attend team meetings and training sessions to improve your skills and knowledge

Requirements:

A high school diploma is required, but if you have an associate's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field, that's a plus

While one year of experience in teaching or childcare is preferred, we are happy to train the right person who is passionate about working with children and willing to learn

You must be vaccinated for COVID

You will work on-site from 9:30am-5:30pm, Monday through Friday on an as needed basis.

Job Type: Part-time, Per diem

Salary: $17.00 per hour

COVID-19 Considerations:

Proof of COVID vaccination is required for this position.
